Who mapped it?! My mate has a mapped bora, hard boost pipes, 3 inch downpipe etc etc, 220 bhp and 230 lb ft torque and averages 34mpg
Id say its been a town car, it needs a new thermostat and temp switch or its got a bad map on it
Flol at dephaser at 5000 rpm.
What a write up.
Heat wrap bhp increase
Edit, the car has some good bits, and does look in ok nick for the age, but bless him he really is hoping to get back some of the money he has spent on it.
A grand off and it would be about right.
Different oils can give different charateristics, and can make them quieter or louder - remember comparing 2 same viscocity oils is like comparing 2 loafs of bread - they could both be white and sliced, but taste totally different
I noticed going to the titan made a noticable difference in the...
dont use engine flush mate! no need for it, and it can cause more harm than good, just get the oil hot before you drop it.
I used titan pro S in my Elise, made the k series noticably more quiet, cold and warm, and smelt great
Message him saying you will take it to an indipendant rolling road, get it tested, then let them map it, take it back to those rollers and tell them if it doesnt get 24bhp then you want your money back.
In reality if they are using their own rollers then it's very easy to show a cars got...

Yup I did, it made 194bhp on Pauls rollers mind, the 209bhp was on another set.
I was lucky, I managed to do it all SUPER cheap, but mine was a development muel - it needed more development to make it better - it worked fine and was good flat out, it was also fine on light throttle, it was...
No problem fella, if you need anything else, you know where I am <3

Ooh I need a few bits if your up for a bit of CS discount ;)
Thats why you need to book a cheap courior and buy them from me x

perfect description of how I look at Pod - pop up with a few mates, get some runs against each other, see who gets the best time between you, beat some faster cars, get mullared by something silly like a Kart with a bike engine in - it's all such a great laugh :)
^^ Good advise there, the cambelt is a £500 job, so that can make a £1000 car into a £1500 car, so double check it has been done by a reputable garage - not ABC performance - having performance in the title does not always mean they know what they are doing lol.
Steering wheel as said are...
Engines range so differently between cars, some good ones will pull 14.5's standard, where as the average I would estimate 15.2 ish
Dont fret too much, practice is the key, and remember to enjoy it - I know these cars are not meant for it, but that doesn't stop it from being fun - hell once...
