Hello mate
Sorry for the delayed reply.. This is a hard one to answer! It depends what you want really. As you know we do ALOT of clios but it is still depending on where you want to go. I can't see there been a massive difference in the two but i don't deal with the group n.
Hope this...
The remap is undetectable by the clip and even if it did show it would only be a programm date!
The car would only return to standard if we did this with our tool or a dealer decided to do a software upgrade (unlikely).
If the battery went flat the software remains so no problems there.
A "group...
Depends on the car really mate. On a couple of 182's i have seen 14hp down to as low as 7 but all seem to give good gains in torque and are instantly noticable on the road! Who said remapping a non-turbo is pointless :D
Cheers

Bell Autos are not far from me and we speak on a regular basis but we have no connections and as i said before I MAKE my own files.
As for this thread.... i was trying to make a point which is if the dealer has no connection to superchips via phone or email when tuning a 172/182 you don't have...
Also to add, IF you do have a custom superchips remap these guys must be the only dealer in the country to create their own files and supply them as superchips!
Paul
If superchips were not involved then you don't have a superchip. Did they give you anything else when they remapped it? Sounds like you have a custom map from a superchips dealer like me but not a "superchip"
I write all my own maps and use a dyno to setup a base for different mods. I then...
Hence the Hmm sort of!
There is no way a superchip can be fully custom because the person modding the file is not tuning the car! If you think different it appears you have been fed lots of crap!
Ok let's put this another way.... A 172 on their dyno is likely to produce 172. ANY other decent dyno and it won't. So what you are also saying is that my remap pushed a 182 to 202hp? this same 182 runs only 186 on the other dyno AFTER the remap.
Oh and to finish LAD motorsport use them!
The good ones will be from the donkeys that beleive the figures produced ;)
I ran a 182 on there to map it, after i finished it had 202hp with no internal mods, not even inlets lol

PM'd you mate. Basically we will get the most possible for your driving style with no danger of causing damage to the turbo/engine/clutch
On the 65 this is usually in the reigion of 20hp but as you can imagine that's alot extra!

Hi guys, not got a dyno yet :( but don't bother with Well Lane! The rollers tell big porkies!
The one we use is in Halifax and i would recomend it to anyone. If you want me to speak with mat for some pricing let me know and i will sort it out.
Cheers

Drove a 197 today. It had about 26 miles on the clock. It felt really well composed on the corners and boy did we go round some corners! Acceleration is also nice and smooth and i think the only reason it feels "slow" to a 1x2 driver is because it is a bigger more solid car. Yes it could do with...
