k-tec engine conversion

Hi all, has anyone had the k-tec 172 engine conversion carried out on their mk2 ph2 clio 1.2/1.4/1.6?

Not anyone on here, i think people are slightly blinded by the cost as it includes suspension and brake upgrades.

I would certainly trust k-tec to do it. David, who owns the company, has been involved in tuning Renaults for years. They have always been very professional and have gone out of their way to please me in the past.

There aren't many companies in the automotive sector that provide good customer service or are managed particularly well, i would say k-tec are a valuable exception!

I totally agree with you. Ive bought a lot off k-tec and everythings been spot on. Also David Kirk is awesome, a very nice and helpful guy indeed. If I was to trust anyone with my clio it would be them.

Does it really include Brake upgrades also?

thats a turn up for the books!!! as i went down to see daved kirk one time when i said i was gonna buy the turd from him, and after travling 3 hours to get down there,,,i finally got there and to my suprise...his work mate said he had gone out shopping after i had said to him the night before i was comming down the next morning...not the done thing to do when u are running a business,hey

Maybe he just forget we all make mistakes. Did he make any apoligies etc? Maybe he didn't even think your turning up it happends a lot.

From the dealings i have had with david and K-Tec id say he is a safe bet. I have not had any work done, but ordered a few bits from them. Im lucky, i got mark fish right on my doorstep.
