Funny thing is, im a TERRIBLE passenger, but I actually felt very safe with you Jay!
Even though after you said about the understeer, then proply ran wide on the last corner, but countered that on the next lap by going even faster lol - top skills my man, very impressive
b****cks mate, as said I ran them for 10's of thousands of miles with no problem, the Pro's drop a Clio 15-20mm, id get on the phone to Eibach and get something from them stating their springs will not wear out new shockers in a week
Will have pictures up from Llandow soon, Duf did well..........
For a whole 15 minutes :(
Downpipe split in half, which left me stuck as I didn't want to risk breaking the exhaust off - it was a loud enough drive home as it was lol.
As luck would have it a very kind SharkeyUK...
It still belongs to Renault, it's loaned out to magazines so definately driven properly, Performance car had it first (under 300km's on the clock at the time) and compared it to the then new 197
If you undo the 4 big bolts and pull the mount forward, it will tighten the movement up (it will take a good shove, and be carefull of the aircon pipes, but you should be able to move it a good inch or so)
I have ran the Ktec ones and the standard mounts, and tbh id run new OE standard mounts, once adjusted correctly they are tight enough, and even the ktec ones although tiger dont take all the movement out
Lol! Tell you what, on the next day il push on a little, but only with you in the car to make sure you're happy! lol
It is bloody awesome even at 2/10ths
:o To be honest I had to only go at 8/20ths mate - after all it's your car so I was going easy on the brakes and sticking to my self emposed 5500rpm rev limit - It would be even more awesome if I had used it properly lol :D
For the name, check out the number plate ;)
had a good first session, but unfortunately split the downpipe in half so that was the only use Duf got :(
SharkyUK very kindly lent me his itb'd Trophy though so I still had a great day
Cheers mate, it's nice to have a bumper thats not flapping in the wind any more lol :)
