Yeah first time out on the RSR's compared to last time on the ps3's.
Must say they felt great despite the lack of warm up time, can't wait for cadwell now!
Curborough is a great little track and awesome community, more of you guys need to get down
Yeah these have done a couple of days at cadwell but tbh there have loads of tread left on them.
So far I'm impressed with the RSR's for the money on the road and they don't half warm up quick, also sidewalls seem much stiffer then the ps3's I removed
So been fairly busy recently, family commitments, wedding planning, work and fixing other folks cars!
As well as the RSR's I've also inherited a pair of dunlop direzza's which intend to use on the front when I get some spare wheels and maybe even buy another pair!
I got these of a pal Steve...
So bit of a shop about for tyres, read various reviews and spoke to various folk and finally settled for these from oponeo.
Went for the 595rsr in a 235/40/18 in the end. Spoke to a few folk who seem happy with them but more so me pal who won the pro british drift championship last year.
He's...
Take a read off the latest developments on the powerflex thread I'm RS megane mate.
Martin has had no end of trouble with his and after his trackday today the camber bushes have been moving/adjusting themselves!
Oh what you doing with your old calipers;)
So Adam posted how he had managed to get his hands on some more r26r spoilers and how stock was limited.
I've wanted one for a while but just never got round to ordering one but thought I'd better act fast
Phone call yesterday and this is here today
Looks a great motor, seen this advertised.
I recently stepped up after 3 clios (172, 197 and trophy) to a r26 and I absolutely love it!
Mines a little more breathed on now but loving the gains I've had from BOOSTED tuning haha
Enjoy
2nd video, little bit more pace although I did single the noise down to the pop from the exhaust so did back off a tad but cant wait to get back there again!
I have found the car a little more tricky to drive since mapping as traction in 2nd is questionable!
Bloody hell mate, what time was that skate park open till?
Yeah cracking day, glad I joined. Good mix of motors down there today. Just got to upload me last video up later after work.
Yeah you only really used 2nd and 3rd and 4th on the straight, it was just weird as I never heard it before and did cause me to back off on me second run tbh until I was sure what it was
So first run has been edited and is live on YouTube. Concentrated on keeping it smooth but still carrying pace and just trying to take in what I had watched
I did get the odd pop sound which I'm certain came from the exhaust but I haven't been able to create it on the road as of yet.
4 goes and 3 of them were doubles so 7 laps but they changed the formation a few times but it was really busy today as it was first members day.
I did have a moment when I heard a noise but I've realised it was when I was slowing down/feathering throttle and sounds like a pop in the exhaust...
So few pics from today, met Ste Burns down there and Steve1 came down in his R.
Really good day got a few vids when I remembered to switch on the GoPro lol.
Few pics of the Megs together
My R26 and Ste's R
Another
And Mr Burns trophy too
I'll edit the gopro vids and bang them up...
So the go pro is on charge ready for some sprint action tomorrow as I'm joining up to shenstone an district car club.
This gives me access to Curborough sprint course on several members days thought out the year!
I've been there to watch now and again for several years but more so after...
4th gear is my favourite by far, pulls like a b*****d, had a little play with a mates mapped St and pulled on him a treat but can't wait to get it on track now
