Done some research into a KITT replica a while back ,and you can buy a working dash from a chap in the USA (For a huge sum of $) but it can be wired to do all this:

Cheers mate, it does shift very well with all the weight out
Small update,
I have now aquired:
The 2 new sills
Spax adjustable shockers with -60mm springs
Headlight switch
Door and boot seals
VR6 highline alloys in black with part worn Khumo's on
So im close to being MOT-able, id like to have it done in January and see how I can do in next years Santa...
Remember a rolling road is a good diagnostic tool - it will tell you if your car is lean or rich, if cam timings out etc.
But you need a decent rolling road, plus someone who knows how to use it-otherwise you will end up with an innacurate figure
I HATE gearboxes - I don't touch them after the first (and only one) iv touched lasted 2 weeks in a car I had lol.
Oh don't get me on the idea of ITB's! lol
It is do-able, but you need more than the engine, just to start you need:
Engine
gearbox
loom
ECU
UCH
dash
keys
ignition barrel
Plus extras like hoses, radiator, and then the rest of the car wont be up to the engine so you will need better brakes, suspension, tyres, and after all that, is it...
Been out doing a little more on the wiring - Found out if you push the MFA button on the wiper stalk it flashes the brake lights PMSL!
So something is definately not right, Iv decided to start re-making sections of the loom - it will save me a lot of time rather than chasing my tail looking for...
Latest update on the aply named:
Lol
Been and checked it over for it's MOT and it needs:
2 sills
o/s tie rod
2 tyres
Lights working correctly
Sills due to arrive today, brand new and including a tie rod too - total for those are £56 lol.
Also got a set of decent suspension coming...

If anyone would like to know any more info, please drop me a PM or give me a call - this is a lovely car, belonged to a friend of mine who part ex'd it with me and it's a really nice example!
To be fair if the timing was out it generally is picked up when being mapped, every power curve i remember seeing has been very different with the timing out, so stick your graph up and lets have a look.
7000 rpm in 5th it should be. If you want to go faster then you need to spend big money mate. The ph2 box is different all through each gear, to give you an idea my old ph1 did 122mph in 4th at 7000 rpm, 142mph in 5th was around 6500 frm memory.
Edit, didnt see you had a cup, in that case you 'could' fit a ph1 box, but id be very suprised if you got it any faster - id be swapping my ph1 box for a cup box if i was keeping it, so it had 'slightly' better accelleration, and the extra revs im loosing at top is doesnt matter as you need a...
What i meant to say is with power, gearing and aerodynamics, you need to take in all 3 when wanting more speed (im talking high speed) if you were to find a gearbox that was 'longer' then you would most likely end up at the same speed (maybe a few mph more at very best, maybe a few mph less) as...
Are you kidding? You would need a lot more power to get more top speed, it's not just about the gearing, stick another box in, buying the box, fitting costs + a new clutch = probably £800 gone, for what, maybe 2-3 mph to keep with with a Civic? tyo get any more you need more power. Out of...
