As above, mines been fine, they are good cars for the money the 1.2 16v, and despite the odd rattle they are still alot better built than the 106/ saxo/ corsa etc.

Not aimed at you Michael but if your just changing the colour of the wheels when there is no damage what is the process? Standing them back, primer, then spraying them then laquer?
Oh rite I don't fill up until the light comes on, hate going to petrol stations, very nearly run out once though, did 50 miles on the light, couldn't find a petrol station.
The lack of service history would really put me off. Cat D not so much and the cam belt can be done, its not overly modded by the look of things.
I guess £3.5k is about right as one with service history and accident free would be worth around £5.5k.
I agree with the above, but I tend to view my car as more of a hobby than a necessity, I don't really need a car, I could go on my mums insurance and use hers, but I love my cars and I don't mind compromising on a few things to enable me to afford it.

Made a mistake in the above the cable throttle did feel more direct and connected.
May have been a combination of the clutch and the fact that I was shitting myself about bumping it and was quite intimidated at first temporarily forgetting how to drive!
