That was to light the blow torch haha, couldn't find a lighter cause the old mans packed up the cigs
Nah tbh only took 20 minutes, alot less stressful then driving across town on a saturday afternoon haha
Well woke up this afternoon and due to being on nights but thought I'd get up and do a bit by removing the old bushes from the new lower arms. Did it the old school way as I don't have a press so a blow tourch, grinder, hacksaw and hammer and chisel so sorted it! And my health and saftey is...

It clearly does short trips, personally I'd be looking at one with a few more miles maybe but still doesn't mean this one will be no good.
Diesels take much longer to warm up so on short trips they won't return the mpg or get upto optimum running temp which is where your problem could lie if...

I do believe there's a couple of lads on this site running the engine dynamics (old bb performance tuning) kit. I follow the guys on facebook and looks like they've been doing some tidy work if do say so myself.
You'd prob be better pulling the engine out and doing the sump, clutch and cambelt all in one go, got potential though :) and petrol blue to die for :D
Yeah scoff built the engine for him, well tbh built the car. My cousin swapped it for the Audi tt powered Matt black clio, don't know what happened to it then on because that was over 4 years ago at least!
Sorry to here about the accident shag, main thing is you are ok. Me cousin used to own that rear engined jobby, he bought it as a shell off scoff and had scoof build him the b18ft and from what I remember Haz painted it in its current colour scheme.
