Tbh I also find this forum fairly friendly compared to other forums. As for sax-p it really is a bit naff, I was a member a few years ago when saxo's still had some value, now there worth sod all its full of kids! Exception of a few members.
This forum still seems to get a few young members...
Lovely car mate, I love s2000's! A good friend of mine had a slightly modified pre facelift an what an awesome car! It sounded great on vtec, really screamed an with the exhaust on it it sounded more like a japanese bike!
Heres a quick pic of me mates old 1
I always thought they were dealer only, I brought a non gen one an had no end of problems with the inner gaiter ripping. Pretty sure its was catching on the back of the block. Why not try renparts for a second hand one? I brought one of them an was in good working order an delivered quickly...
I've stuck with clios since 2009, owned a 172, 197 an now I currently own a trophy. The main thing that attracts me to them is the fact there fairly practical as well as not being to bad when it comes to the performance side of things. I'm coming up to 24 now with 6 years ncb so there fairly...
Yeah its the revo knuckle on the rd isn't it?
Yeah the similarities between the 5 an the Clio is funny, there almost identical in places but it works I suppose.
I found my old 197 so more planted in the bends too compared to the 1*2's, but they don't have an lsd standard, are your sure your friend hasn't been taking LSD? Haha.
Tbh unless you have modified your veichle to make it possible to adjust more factors of alignment just front wheel tracking should be fine.
Although 4 wheel alignment could show up an unknown problems, i.e something is bent or damaged that could effect castor or camber angles.
Most places...
I'd certainly drop a wishbone on it mate, considering the impact it would of been exposed to with the wheel coming off. Certainly sounds like a reasonable cause with whats happened, after that if its all sorted just get it all tracked up.
I know theres a few variations in driveshafts on these, not sure when it come to passenger side is what I was saying.
Well if something is bent like a wishbone this will affect the geometry an could cause things like pulling an maybe even change the characteristics under braking. Only time my...
Is there a difference with the passenger side? Bent wishbone sounds quite suspect, have you got another to compare it too? Could also be the cause of a few of your other problems.
Piper exhausts are great too, fitment is second to none. I ran an oreca grp N with decat on my old 172, sounded great, nice an light but note to look at. Looked purposful.
Or AndyRg on here, he's carried out the conversion too. Lewis Taylor may also have some photo's as he was doing a conversion at one point.
Either way this place will have the info, theres a few others kicking around too that have done the work.
Yeah the drain holes blocking tends to be a root course, the way the motor is mounted is a little heath robinson its in like a plastic container covered in sealent lol. Yeah he said the seats were an expensive option.
I really am looking into getting one of these next bit more "grown up" lol
Just had a quick browse, really like your z4. I'm really warming to these after a good friend of mine had a 3.0 with with what I think was some sort of m spec leather interior. Only thing he had me do to that was change the hydraulic roof motor after it failed to to water ingress. Still...
