You can buy any of the RS alloys off a Renault stealer if you pay enough, so arguably they could have been fitted as an optional extra from new as they are not 'aftermarket'. It doesn't matter that you bought them second hand.
With my insurance policy I had the choice of declaring alloys

Who you with?
I would explain that they are Renault alloys and could have been fitted from new as a optional extra.
Admiral were more than happy to rob another £50 off me for mine.
Noooooo don't do it! I went with a friend of mine to buy a mk4 golf 1.6, which he bought, handles like a dog! And the tyres on it, check out the profile of the standard tyres fitted to steel wheels on mk4 1.6's, you need a can of tyre shine for each corner!

Sold but you get the idea.
I ve looked at 3 series Beemers myself, the main problem is you asked for something quick and the 316 is slower to 60 than your Clio.
I guess you must be abit younger than me then.
Best quote ive had is £1400 fully comp. 1yrs no claims, 2.5yrs driving experience, no points, aged 20.
Everyone raves about the 106 gti's but I find them abit flimsy, and too small, the interior isn't as nice as your Clio either.
Cheers, will read it from the start. Yeah I tried left foot braking once, nearly went through the windscreen have no sensitivity compared to my right foot, i guess i depressed the brake pedal like I would the clutch:eek:
As above, it seems to me that the Trophy's are the only RS's (only French car!!) that hold their value. So depending on how long you keep it, could make financial sense. Having said that 11k is a hell of a lot of money for a used 'old shape' Clio flash suspension or not.
You will get more selling it privately. Expect a low price then talk him up. He will probably offer you £3k! If he offers you a high trade in price your probably paying over the odds for the new one as he will of stuck it on the other end.
A certain Renault garage offered me a mint trade in on a...

When someone went up the back of you I assume their insurance company paid for the repair or they did out of their own pocket.
If it had been a write off be it cat a, b, c or d you wouldnt have got the car back they would have just given you its value, you may however be able to buy the car back...
I don't reckon the accident would show up unless the car was written off, which I assume it wasn't.
I would say its worth about £4k going by the prices currently on autotrader.
Lol, well I haven't listed my parents cars in my profile! Besides if my dad had an evo I would sell the Clio and use the proceeds to put me as a named driver on it!
Those badges are £3 from motorworld, they look s**t, clearly a boy racer type to buy one and stick it on. Theres an 8V 206 round my way with one!
One of my favourites, sums up my point:
