Im with Admiral, when I come to renew after this and a few other horror stories I WILL NOT be renewing with Admiral, even if they are over £100 cheaper than the opposition, when you come to claim they are as much use as a chocolate manifold.
Ph1 172 can be had for £3.5k now. Or a 205 GTI with some change left to spend on upgrading it.
Westfield/ Caterham?
Can't blame you, I owned an Eos off the lights the other night :quiet:
Both!! I have a private plate on mine, and I keep it mint by regularly washing and waxing it. My neighbour thought it was brand new, despite it being 5yrs/ 55k old!
Liking your alloys alot, looking good.
Alex
Happens to me alot after a few pints! Jokes aside happened to my bro's 1.2 16v, he turned it off and restarted it. Apparently the metal cage around the ecu rattles off and shorts it out, think in his case it had just got damp.
Mines not easy to get into first when crawling in traffic, and it doesn't like 2nd at those speeds. When the renault mechanic test drove it (looking at another problem) he put it into first alot earlier than I would off and was quite not forceful but direct with it. I don't reckon theres...
Yes.
Ive bought two 51 plate Clio's (1.2 16v) over the course of this year.
They are both 'Expressions' though.
Mine: 48k 2001 51 plate £2550
My brothers: 45k 2002 51 plate £2600.
You pay abit more for a dynamique but not that much more.
It doesn't make too much difference to the fuel consumption, I think its more the case of putting your foot down more often just to listen to it. You know when someones got one fitted not because of the sound, but because they have the window down in Feb!
I would just buy one second hand then...
Yeah you should be able to bodge it with that silver piping from B&Q (I will probably get flamed for this). At the end of the day theres no point spending nearly £100 on a K&N or a pipercross one because you will soon get bored with the sound it makes and the extra fuel it drinks and it will be...
A K&N is £70, and the only advantage it has over the universal one at £25 is abit of pipe. To be honest if you are just after the sound I would buy a universal one and some piping.
Sorry to hear this Mark, give the hire car hell! Clutchless gear changes full throttle starts, J turns, take it off roading! Be sure it goes back with slicks on the front!
I got quoted £150 to have mine spayed, theres a little ding and a scratch where a tile fell off the roof onto mine (in the hands of its first owner). I haven't had it touched in yet.
9/9.5k thats just been picky!
