ive had mine replaced under warranty twice now, and i tell you what, if they go again over a year then i am not paying for them, its a renault fault, the bloody things shouldnt fall off the car. Are you sure they take the bumper off? I cant see that myself, each time i have taken mine in to have...
i dont know what the hell you guys have been doing, i wheel spin occasionally, take corners fairly hard quite often, and the car is on 15k and still on the original set with plenty to go!!?
Just phoned Renault Insurance who have confirmed that I have 5 years no claims which I can use wherever I want, so I have managed to get a quote from DirectLine Fully Comp for £756.00 (22, M, 3 pnts SP30, MK2 172)!!
Ive been told by Renault Insurance that i got 2 yrs ncb free after my first free year, and that if i go to another company those free ncb do not count.
havent got it on me mate, im with them at the moment so theyve give me a renewal quote, the renewal line is 0870 024 2481, if you dial that you can prob get the quote line from them.
Its time to renew my insurance, im 22, M, 3 yrs ncb, and 3 points for an SP30, on a MK2 172 valued at £10K, and i cant get a quote under £1,100? Does that sound right?
Why dont you try this : -
Sorry officer, its a fault with the car, its stuck on 81mph! Renault are looking at it next week. LOL.
Sorry to hear about that mate.
i am thinking of getting a full magnex, which one should i go for? twin or single oval? and how noisy is it on the 172?? cos i would imagine it to be quite loud!! (which is a bad thing in my opinion) im more of a sporty tone kind of guy.
70% of the time when first starting in the morning, mine takes 2 or sometimes 3 times to get started, this is a known immobiliser issue apparently. Another trip to Renault...
yeah, there are a few clios with 18s on, there is one blue one in the others gallery (blue new facelift clio on 18" dare v2s), plus there is the K-Tec 172 on 18" Dare V2s, it possible, but from my experience (17"s lowered 60mm) it has left my old cars suspension f**ked, nackered balljoints...
I have managed to get 10% discount thanks to the club, so its now £1196.39, which isnt too bad considering, Toyos are usually around £300 a set and the Kahns probably are an expensive wheel. But what spring set do I get? The Eibach Pro kit, or the Eibach Sportline Kit??
ive questioned the price, and they are saying that the Kahns are one of the most expensive wheels they sell, as are the Supperleggeras which are also out of production at the moment (according to them).
For a set of 17" Kahn RS-S, Toyo Proxes, 30mm Eibach Pro Kit, locking nuts, fitting, £1320.00 inc vat? Seems pricey to me? Anyone know where i can get a better deal?
Cheers,
Gaz
