im 22 and drive a 172, (it may not be a valver buts its the same kind of class of car), and id like to think if at 32 i chose to drive the same kind of car (because i still chose to) it wouldnt be a problem. If you like it, then i for one dont see any problem. Enjoy it, and sod everyone else...

just phoned tweeks up, there has been an incorrect batch of Magnex systems made without the connecting brackets welded to them, so they are having to make one up for me to send out, so i aint gonna get it fitted till thursday or friday now. ARSE.

near the front, you have the manifold, followed by a box, followed by another larger box, followed by the back box, i think its the larger second box doing it (just under the drivers seat).

Just been out to my car, reved the engine, and jesus! It sounds like the exhaust is going to fall off, i am getting a full magnex system fitted this afternoon or tommorow, does anyone know if this will solve the problem?

is that with the tyres intact, or without the tyres intact? LOL

mines a Mk2, and ive gone for the 3.5" Round Twin. Ill post some pics when its done. Car looks good Lee, was yours the one that did 168Bhp at PERR?

They probably could have, but its not a good join then, so i am happier that they decided to re-order the correct part and connect it properly.

the window buttons operate like this, press and hold to go up or down, or press up/down quickly to get them to go up/down by themselves, not a problem. By the way, my hazards dont flash, but i do get a beep sound. Strange?

Went to Demontweeks today to get a full magnex system fitted, 50 mile drive there, running late, got lost, bit of fancy work with the old 172 engine and the navigation got there in the nick of time. Good. Car up on the ramp, exhaust out, plenty of bubble wrap later we are looking good..... Then...

I use my car almost every day without fail, but from time to time on weekends it doesnt get used, then i find, when i use it on the monday, its fantastic, wants to go racing off straight away? , its very strange, always this way when it hasnt been used for a day or two?

they are a bit slidy, but it makes for fun on roundabouts!!

I phoned up Directline last night to find out if they would charge me more to add a stainless steel exhaust to my policy, only to be told that they do not allow modifications to cars unless you are 25 or over, WTF?? I would have thought they would atleast allow it at an extra cost?, Is there...

Im getting fed up of having my 172 standard now, and am also fed up of the standard Reno exhaust system, you know, the one with the dodgy rattles, clicks and bangs when cooling down etc, and the one that just basically gives an unhealthy sound to the car. So I want to go Stainless (as it were)...

mine used to do this all the time, took 2 or 3 times to start, took it in to Renault Liverpool they said it was a sensor on the fly weel, they played about with it, and now it has started 95% of the time ever since.

im not being funny, but each time i have taken mine in to have them replaced they havent really been that long with the car, certainly not long enough to take the bumper off!! Is there any chance that they are just gluing new balls back in?
