so, if i fit 17"s, then do i really need to bother lowering at all? I think i am going to do it, 17" superlegas, or 17" Kahn RS-Ss, i know the superlegas are supposed to be good on weight, does anyone know what the Kahns are like, looking at them i would have thought they would be pretty heavy?
hmm, just been looking through the gallery, Yogis 172 looks smart with the Mille Miglia Actions on it, i have had them alloys in 15s on my old car and really liked them, but my experience of 17" mille miglias are that they weight a tonne, so perhaps superlegas is the way to go, but also noticed...
thanks to everyone for the suggestions, i think the coilovers are a bit too much £, i am thinking along the lines of 17" superlegas in silver, and lowering 30mm, does anyone know how much difference there would be in ride height, between standard on 16s, and 17s with 30mm drop?
Got a little bit of a dilema, want some honest advice. It goes like this:

yes, but the thing is Embro2002, I have never crashed, never made a claim, and have only got 3 points for an SP30. Im 21 with 2 years ncb, the car is only valued at £11,000!!, and is currently insured for approx £1,300 a year, not £13,000 jesus!! Some ppl. LOL.
one of mine was going to be replaced by warranty, and Renault said to remove the light would require the complete removal of the front bumper. So I dont think its a good idea P4DDY.
yeah ive seen them cut a saxo arch berfore, (cos the guy drove off and it cut a mssive hole straight through his tyre). But i honestly dont think they do rolling.
Ive used them loads in the past, must have been there atleast twenty times. They are very good, but can be expensive. Im 95% sure they dont have a body shop, and im also sure they wont be able to roll arches.
this is going to very costly for Renault if the only fix for it is to replace the struts, i personally think that the truth is more along the lines of, yes they know there is a problem, and yes they know how to fix it, but they are stalling until they find out the cheapest and easiest way to...
yeah, it looks like there is a serious problem with the suspension but surprise surprise renault are being reluctant to own up and provide information.
i want to get some new speakers today for my 172, ive been told that they will take 13cms? is that right? and how do i remove the speaker covers in the car? a good tug at the bottom of the surround?
thanks.
I took my MK2 172 into Renault the other day to have a few bits and pieces fixed, whilst i was there i asked them to check the nsf wheel because of metal on metal scraping noises, they checked this and said that they couldnt find anything out of order and that they were however aware of a known...
