I'm sure I saw a BG with turinis today, Caversham park junction? Or was that you and I'm clearly blind when it comes to wheels!!
Looked good. Both the car and the other half ;)
Cheers bud, I'm pretty much happy with how it is now. Just start racking up the trackdays. When driving it today it made me realise how much I love it given its a miley, slightly pink French built tin can :)
I'm excited about Anglesey because it will be first my TD since some significant improvements that I felt I was "used to" with the previous spec. It will be my first TD with;
- braking: the brembos and ducts
- suspension: ASTs vs Bilsteins
- engine; another 70bhp / 60lb ft from the charger...
Yep, accompanied with a crazy "sucking the world in through a straw" noise.
How is yours running?
Yep, I'm out on track in the morning at CSS if you fancy a passenger lap come and find me and give me a shout bud.
Not yet bud, although I have bought a go pro so will get footage at Anglesey and may go out for a run / shoot some footage tomorrow if I get time. I need @Luke digital skills to help me.... :)
I find the noise hilarious. It's like a mini, snorting dragon. 😂
I went for the AST 5200 mate, with custom spring rates.
They can be an absolute pain in the arse to get hold of / sort (ask @NorthloopCup lol!) but J-tech are an AST distributor so I ordered with them (they're obviously doing the geo etc) hence the 3 weeks. Speak to Jamie there and he'll see...
A couple of good days for the flamemobile.
Some of you who were at the Surrey RR meet saw the car run once with a figure of 230bhp. Charlie wouldn't run it again and said he backed off after 5k as to him it looked like the ignition timing was out around 5k.
This obviously had me a little...
Snigger.
OT - absolutely epic m3. I love the fact that every one of your cars looks great. I'd happily buy any of them, and that isn't the case with most "modified" cars as I'm massively fussy :)
Woof woof 😂😂😂😂
He's well known on here, both for overpricing things, his artistic flair with a red arrow and for being quite frankly rude.
He is @Sunglasses_Ron 's kryptonite!
Mine has a trophy engine in it, so it looks like I'm quids in if I ever...
You looked at the tricolore trophy? Most people on here race in that. Number of classes dependant on modification, great fun and a great bunch of guys. If I was racing, I'd race there.

As said, it's not overly difficult and a good way into getting more handy with the spanners.
You do need some kit though, and take things steady / safely.
It's the reason I've gone with the charger tbh. Engine goes, just bolt another one in for £200 and off we go again. 250bhp is plenty for my driving abilities / appetite for going through engines.
Cheers, it isn't as clean as that at the moment. But this weekend I'm cleaning it again. The hoses and things aren't that difficult to keep clean, it's more access with the charger kit that is the problem now.
I'm redoing the rocker cover as well, as it needs some attention. :)
