To be fair i can see Dave's point, iv driven plenty of Ed30's and 3 remapped ones (circa 300 bhp) and in a straight line is fine, but when you start to push on it really is too much power for the chassis.
No doubt with better suspension, better ARB's better tyres will help, but thats just part...
Lol fair play mate! Glad its still doing you well :)
I worked it out at the time, it used to hit 48mpg quite easily
I get about 75ish miles to a tenner in the 172
I wouldnt let it put you off mate, its only one batch. which happens in life and they are surviving my driving, which is recommendation! lol
It depends on the car i personally think, some have the standard mounts and they have lasted fine, me for example have been through 3 sets of new mounts...
Thing is, i can see why your saying it, i can imagine some little scrote revving the arse off it in the workshop to here what it sounds like, but then i think ,no matter what they do with it, it wont be any worse than it gets from me lol
Yeah yeah rub it in why dont ya!
I remember the first time i drove yours, first 3 times i used the brakes i locked them up, then when i got it right i hit my head on the front of the roll cage lol
A combination of scandinavian flick, lift off and handbrake.
Very good driving, though on some points steering was quite frantic.
Most well handing FWD cars you can do this with, really good fun
(Awaits the 'its crap because its not RWD' brigade)
Mintex 1144's mate, have always found them to be very good, only a tint bit of fade after about 15 hard laps of Combe, but never very bad, just the pedal going a bit, still bite very well.
My daughter is 3 months old now, and getting her and the pushchair in the car isnt a problem, but there are other issues:
With the pushchair and her bag in the back there isnt any room for anything else
If you go shopping the shopping will mostly have to be on the back seat
With the car...
