Yip use to have a V8 manual, was a nice car but lacked excitement in a way. I think the V10 would be a different ball game, as it would then have the power to match the chassis.

From what I have seen they do sound to be fairly hard rollers , the black phase 1 with cat cams and bodies only made 159atw. I will be running my car there next month so be good to see how they compare to the other rollers it's been on.

Nope Craig I'm back in Malaysia with work , and the car is sitting without a gearbox I'm hoping to get out to the May 24th round. Will be a busy week when I get home getting the car back together and tested.

Nope never when the car is running , it has tripped a couple of times when the plugs fouled during cranking. It resets in a few seconds.

Fitted a roof scoop.

Could have went bigger but I was only seeing temps of around 130. So just wanted to drop temps a little for added safety.

Will get one tomorrow , it's a 19 mocal cooler kit, I'm not running a thermostat justnow but as it's a track only car shouldn't have a problem. I still need to get some spira wrap for the hoses to avoid any rubbing.

Got my roof scoop fitted today along with an oil cooler . Was a bit worried about drilling into the roof as its had filler after the bonnet came up but all went well. Going to pick up a Yozza just now and get the oils suspension off as hopefully the AST's should be here tomorrow.

What engine Fraser your old one rebuilt or did you end up using cams and parts from the cup engine? Your always going to have some tension on the camshaft as it is compressing valve springs but sounds like you have more than normal.
