If its an oil mark try brake cleaner will normally get anything out. Even dirty Lorry fifth wheel grease.

Hi looking at changing wheels this year hopefully, I have non cup phase 2 172. I just wanted to check, non cup 172s have different offset to cups is ths correct? Can you use cup wheels on non cups?

Hi need some advice with gearbox problem and a suspension knock. Car is a phase 2 non cup 172 with 56k on clock which had gearbox oil change about 2k ago (renault elf oil) I recently noticed that down changes to 3rd and 2nd are quite stiff. There's no graunch like when synchro gone just doesn't...

Does anybody do an uprated linkage? Im not too fussed with reducing throw but would like to make it more positive. Or is there bushes ect that wear out in linkage? My 172 has done 56k
