the main problem i had was when threading the strut cover thing in the engine bay it kept making the shock turn and so unseat the spring.. I was also having trouble getting the bottom of the shock bolted onto the (wishbone is it?) as i couldn't force it down enough, if i have both front wheels...

so u reckon it needs reseating in that top cup, i did have a slight problem with this while fitting iirc it has a cutout in the top cup where the end of the spring goes. i couldn't manage to keep it on that so i figured that providing it was in the cup it would eventually seat itself right...

no its deff from the suspension. The rattling is coming mainly from the passanger side and sounds like the spring movin around. I may take it apart tomorrow. Im thinking it may be the spring in the 'cup' part just rattling away, should there be something rubber between the spring and the 'cup'...

Lowered on G max springs (clio mk2 ph2 1.4 16v) ive found the susension quite rattly when going over bumps... is this commmon? or is something loose? thanks josh

Do these ones in the 172/182 section fit the 1.4 16v? as they look identical underneath the car and it has the twisted bar just like in the pic on ktr. Just wondering as mine are doing my head in. Im gonna take it to the stealer 1 last time then im gonna try these... thanks josh
