My 182 appears to have more of a gap between the wheel and arch at the front of the car, than at the back. The difference is quite marked. Is this normal?

Speed isnt the point. Its a very special car, and I'd have one any day of the week over any 182, Cup, Williams or indeed, any other FWD hot hatch. I bet it *feels* quick, with the engine sharing cabin space with you, making an almighty roar as it goes, and with all that torque and RWD pushing...

The mk2 Clio is practically the last car that can make a claim to be "light" for a modern hot hatch. Even that is not exactly that light, but compared to the modern cars its a featherweight. I wont be buying any new cars until they sort out their weight problem.

I would have left it alone TBH, cleaning it is not likely to affect its running in any way. Its an engine, they get dirty, leave it alone :D

The diesels can be quite quick, but be very wary of racing a chipped 1.8T... those things can easily outrun a Clio after 100.
