Our machines are locked down. No personalisation is allowed at all, all internet traffic goes through the proxy, .exe's (and all variants) can only run from the C drive where the users have no write or modify rights.

Can you burn anything else onto the DVD, or is it just pictures that are causing you the problem?
I was cutting down trees in my front garden on Thursday and the street view car drove past. My house has been immortalised as a bombsite and I as a sweaty, red faced person infront of it. I'm curious how long it will take to appear!
It works on our machines, but it depends on the image I suppose. I have the key on my machine too.
Did you try it when the user was logged on? Are you using roaming profiles?
Cheers. I had a huge white paper background - floor, with three studio flashes. One in front with a softbox and two on the sides/ rear shot into reflective umbrellas.

I have a set of blazzeo triggers off eBay. They cost peanuts and have never skipped a beat.
Have a google for DIY beauty dish. They are cheap and simple to make but give great results. I bought a huge plant pot yesterday to give it a try myself.
They run on a separate network to us so it is their own mess to sort out. Sorry, I don't know how they resolved it in the end, and our network was no infected.
You were shooting towards the sun which will reduce contrast so you can try boosting that.
Black and white is normally a good fall back if all else fails.
I tried the second one for you just playing with the curve.
I also started with Canon and have never really looked at crossing over. A mate of mine has let me use his D300 & D700 and they are nice pieces of kit but I am used to Canon so will stick with them.
It comes down to personal preference as well as what features you want at what price point...
