Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
As mentioned by Maggiore, not in Europe yet but you can create a US account or find a version on the net to download outside of itunes. Its (officially) free I think.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
I stumbled across photoshop for iPhone tonight. It is Adobes own app and it is actually pretty cool. If you want to edit photos on your phone (crop, correct colour, add some effects etc) then it is worth a go.
EX = top of the Sigma range
DC = for crop sensors or for digital... Not sure which
HSM = the focus motor it uses. Also supposed to be sigmas best.
It is a cracking lens but I don't know how the focal lengths on Olympus work out compared to canon. Having a really wide low aperture lens is a...
If you have cash in the bank, lenses are a good investment 2nd hand. I have just sold off 4 lenses that I have bought over the last couple of years and have drawn even on the lot. If you fancy trying some nice glass while funds allow, treat yourself and sell it on when you are bored of it. Chris...
Nope, apparently the 10-22 catches the mirror on both the 1D cameras as it is EF-S mount and they both only take EF officially. 16-35 is the UWA to own for FF/1.3x, or the sigma 12-24.
Full frame sensors pictures look like this with crop lenses on them:
12mm
The lenses are only designed to deliver light to a certain focal point on the sensor, this varies with the size of the APS (Crop) and Full Frame bodies. The bonus is that a 24mm lens on a FF body is the equivalent of...
Nice list! Or wait for the 1DmkIV as that should blow all other cameras out of the water if the 7D is anything to go by.
10-22? It would need to be the 16-35 on those bodies.
Are you paying?
Canon 5DII (or Canon 1DIII if I was greedy)
Canon 24-70 f2.8L
Canon 50mm f1.2L
Canon 135 f2L
Canon 100-400
Or a Nikon D700 with the equivalents.
I dont understand the pricing of the new 15-85 at all. Granted the RRP and the actual price always vary considerably but it is still at f3.5-5.6 lens. You'd expect at least a 2.8 for that sort of money.
24-105 F4L IS.... if you can live with 24mm at the wide end, it is an amazing lens with a decent reach. There is also the 24-70 f2.8 but the thing is twice as heavy as your camera and is nicknamed "The Brick" by the canon folk.
The 17-55 f2.8 IS EF-S lens is a good option on the 400D too but...
