Are the brash bushings from yanoo worth bothering with if I don't buy the stiff shift kit?
I'm a bit scint at the moment but wanted to try an make the gear stick a little less sloppy and the brash bushings from yanoo are only about a tenner.
Will they make any difference on their own?
After a thread I saw the other day about the auto button on the climate control I've been having a play.
I normally just set my temp to 20c and leave it at that and its normally quite comfortable.
Today I tried the auto button at 20c and all that happened was it just turned on the air con...
People that keep saying about the auto function turning the ac on and off.. How does this work?
I always have my temp set to 16c but ive never seen the ac light come on and off.
Do you have to turn the ac on to start with? Or does it just kick in and out without turning the ac light on?
My car used to pop and bang for the first 30 seconds when I put my janspeed exhaust on.
After the rs tuner map the pops went and cold starts were much better (still not brilliant though)
Make your own ik if you want noise.
When i pull away in my car slowly i get a slight knocking, its done it for as long as i remember and not got any worse but its starting to do my nut in now. No juddering or anything, its just noise.
I thought it may be the engine mounts but they seem ok..
Are there any common problems i should...
gray mapped mine for me using his rs tuner, i wish id bought the unit myself now.
gave much better power curve, smoother idle, and best of all i havent seen the decat light since i had it mapped.

Can't believe the manufacturers say those values are within tolerance though, seems crazy, especially for your motorist that hasn't got a clue and probably never checks oil.
As title. Is 2 litres of oil in 3000 mile mean my stem seals are probably knackered?
Car runs fine , pulls well and still does 43mpg on a long run.
isit likely to go pop anytime soon? I change the oil every 5k anyway so it's not a massive issue cost wise.
who did the belts?
Did they not do the aux belt kit aswel?
If it is the lower idler and they didnt change the kit that would explain why its still whining.. (if it is the idler anyway)
Is it going to cause any big problems if i run with no undertray for a while? Ie water harming any sensors or stones getting to the aux belt? From what i can see the aux belt is covered anyway without the undertray
When i put my car back together this morning i noticed that the undertray bolts...

Just fit me new aux belt, anybody know what to torque the top alternator mounting bolt up to?
Wasn't sure how far to go and didn't want to snap it.
yeh im happy with that tbh, going through insurance would have meant having to sell my 182.
i cant really afford a few hundred quid for a wall either, but its 100x better than the other option lol
Bought a new genuine aux belt the other day for my 182 with air con it just looks a little short, not had time to strip the old one off yet to compare.
Writing on the belt says
