If it makes you feel any better though then plug in the rear lambda and hang it in fresh air, this can stop the emission light coming on. But like I say, I never got the light anyway
It will be fine. I've only ran 1 lambda for 2 years not had a single issue or warning light.
The rear lambda is just to take readings it 100% does not affect fueling in any way so just enjoy your new exhaust
I got one for mine because I get frustrated when I see 1.2 clios with a halfords sport badge that looks identical to the original 182 sport badge.
Does make me chuckle though when you see that one owned by the 17 year old who put stuck his halfords badge under Clio rather than under Renault.
Cool thanks Jon.
Last question, I'm assuming the tensioner pulley which you would replace when you buy a OEM aux belt kit stays in place? If so is it worth buying this part from Renault?
Ah right, I just got a bit co fused because in the description it says that the alternator is fitted a lot lower down?
Ok , how did you remove the old pulley in the end?
Where is the cheapest place to get the aircon degassed so I'm not killing the ozone or myself?
Just seen the air con delete kit on pure Motorsport for 140 quid so thinking about getting it and having a bash.
Is there any instruction for doing it? Do you need any special tools like with a cam belt or is a socket set and spanners sufficient t?
I'm fairly handy with a spanner but...
Serve esp light can be anything.
When it happened on mine I got the code read so I had an idea of where to start looking and then tested each abs sensor with an oscilloscope till I found the problem.
Kwik fit used a bosche code reader and pointed to rear right abs sensor and turned out to...
why do you care? its only a little light its causing no harm, its just telling you that your car is damaging the environment because you havent got a cat in there.
if its that much of a pain then put the cat back on.
my car is decat, the light came straight on, however ever since i got my rs...
my pump packed in, so i just swapped over the 2 pumps. Theres one that does the front and rear and then one to do the headlamps which never seemed to do anything anyway so i just swapped em over and all is good now
Checked my dip stick this morning and it was bang on the lower marker.
So I had a 1l bottle of gulf race oil and started topping it up bit by bit. I'd pretty much emptied the whole bottle in and still wasn't at the top marker, so I just put the lot in.
I checked the level after about 10...
My old t reg clio completely corroded on the drivers side rear arch, and most other older clios i have seen have this exact problem on the drivers rear arch and behind the petrol cap.
Is there anything i can do to prevent this hapening to my 182 or than a good coat of wax?
Garaging the car...
sorry to bump this thread, but i got a quick question related to this.
i want to buy a new rs tuner, but i just looked on the fastchip site and there appears to be no maps there anymore..
I just wanted to play about with pops and bangs for a while
you dont need to goto a specialist for an oil change..only a complete tard could **** it up.
just make sure they are using the correct grade oil (5w40) and its fully synthetic and thatl be fine.
Or man up and DIY
looks fairly simple what what ive seen, remove cat. take out gear stick and then i guess its a case of swapping the bits over..
Would be nice to know though, 51 quid plus 8 quid for copper bushes seems a bargain if it makes the gear selection feel alot tighter..
done the dogbone last year, didnt really make any difference tbh.
i did a search for yanoo and after a lot of searching i got to his website which is all in a foreign language lol.. is there anywhere with some english pricing and info on it?
Recently i have noticed that when in gear and driving my gearstick seems to have a lot more play in it than it used to. Its not massive, maybe a cm or 2 either way.
Is it something which can be easily fixed with new bushes? If so which ones?
Yeh. Thanks mate.
I've found a pair on eBay for 88 quid delivered. They say for 182 cup. Does a cup packed ff like mine use the same shocks as the cup?

I'm going to ring Adam aswel to see...
Yeh I'm thinking so. Are cup packrear shocks the Same as non cup? Mine has both cup packs..
Also, cheapest place to get em? I keep seeing a guy called Adam mentioned with a phone number but no idea who or where he is based. Is he a dealer?
Nothing in the boot.
I had a brief look and it looks like the rear right shocker may have got a bit of oil dripping down it. Is this a new shock job or a new seal and fresh oil?
I opened the boot and bounced the car up and down and the nocking was very obvious when doing that.
Exhaust...
I noticed yeterday that ive got a knocking noice coming from what seems to be the rear right of the car. It does it when i go over bumps.
It sounds a bit like when a shock bottoms out but everything looks fine, the springs are 10 month old sportlines and are not damaged at all.
Id it a common...
as this is a new thread and i never got the answer in my thread. what size breather filter do we need to get to fix onto the end of the pipe leading to the breather?
Im still using the standard bend on my home made induction because i cant work out what breather to buy and i dont want to fork...
I've got standard 182 cup pack wheels on my car and currently its got 205 45 16 all round.
I need 2 new fronts and 195 45 16 are so much cheaper.
1) will they fit my wheels ?
2) will it cause an issue having an odd size on the front and back.
