If you want a decent sound your gona have to wreck the door cards anyway as good amped speakers will sound crap without and mdf baffle. However installed and setup correctly ie, sound deadening, mdf baffle, sealed doors you can get a set of 13cms sounding quality without needing to drill the metal

I believe the sound you are hearing is the induction roar. I had a 1.2 clio with a knn 57i on it and you could hear the roar even if you floored it in a high gear where the engine isnt revving much , however at normal cruising speeds you couldnt hear it unless you revved the nackers off it.

have you read the thread in the stickys about induction kits? There was no perform increase with them, they got more power from just using a sports filter in the standard air box. Also it mentioned that it messed about with the torqe curve

Thought id bump this thread instead of making a new 1. when changing the plugs on a 182 is it important to set the gap on the ngk plugs? If so how? Also people keep mentioning torqing them up, but whats the correct torq for them on a 182?
