i think your plip is infra-red so you would likely need to aim straight at the sensor, which i think would be by the rear view mirror. Radio operated plips dont need to be aimed as accurately.

How about entering the setup before windows boots up? there may be settings/hardware configuration options there? other than that, i'm stumped. Perhpas the wireless card is damaged. Does it have diagnostic software?

chances are you need to download and install the device drivers for windows to recognise that a wirless card is present

do a hardware device search. right click on "my computer" and then click "manage". go through the devices and look for networking type devices

you need to take it to a dealer for a diagnostic check... the problems you have could be any number of things. It could just be a lambda sensor or something a little more complex... i doubt the ABS light is part of your engine problem.
