i'd keep it myself; it's a 15" steel too, so will be light. i wanted a 15" steel but have ended up with another Turini as a spare only problem with having to change it at the roadside is that i'll bet undoing the wheel nuts with the brace in the tool kit is hard work

There are four mounts in all; Euro Car Parts keep a couple of them (including the top mount) and are cheaper than KTEC, so you can save a little there.

another one! sorry to hear it - lost mine at about 40k (it had had oil leaks in the past - not during my ownership). sounds as though Renault are interested in helping though which is good news the gearbox is at odds with the nature of the rest of the car - keep saying it, but it's a shame imo...

if your whilsting is in each gear and at the top of the revs, it's not going to be the old wing mirror thing - that seems only to be noticeable at speed and isn't gear/rev related. have you a local indie specialist you could take it to for a diagnosis?
