They ran a test on Fifth Gear. The otimax produced better power output and torque than with BP Ultimate. Tesco have brought out a 99RON petrol but it's only availible at selected garages, none of which are in the north so I can't tell you if it's any good or not.

it's not a standard cassette player. It's the higher spec cd player as found on full-fat 172 and the v6.

I was under thge impression that a 172 reaches peak power about 500rpm before the limiter i.e. peak @ ~6250rpm? I do understand tho, that things revs up to the limiter so fast in the first two gears you miss it if you blink.
