If its done right its fine, just remember to bare the metal where the bolts bolt the cam cover to the head don't want paint under the heads when the paint gets hot and cracks and then loosens the bolt.

Ferrodo do the DS pads. Should be fine that fluid. You might find its fades quick with hard use and harder pads like DS stuff depends how you drive etc. Braided lines do help on older cars more so as the older rubber becomes softer.

Faulty sensor or the wiring cna be twsited etc. Common fault cheap and easy to fit though.

The old clip I don't think can tell which has failed. The new one can I'm sure. You can easiyl find out which ones failed often the wiring or the sensors or the disk are obviously damaged.

Nope you can get adapters which plug into the wiring loom and into the back of head units to put th information up depends on the head unit though shop around.
