Not wishing to sound mean but down to you in your mind manybe in your driving style I have to admit that when driving other cars hard I can hit the acclerator no idea whay sort of natural without knowing it.
Get your intake rewrorked before cams etc.
Angelworks or GDi or Yozzasport will be able to supply exchange oens I belive.
Each supplier sells his or her own preferences ie Yozzasport prefers Shrink I belive so personaly ask about.
Take it to a dealer and ask them to look.
Personaly might be down to you rarther than the car as I've question how those problems could exists as some are engine and others are clutch isues.
I think Renault state 5-40 for that 197 but I'm guessing is the same as the 172 ie
Renault recomended fluids/amounts/grades to be used.

CUp an easy job 15 minutes or so.
The belts are about £12
Full fat official time includes for removal for the headlight and front bumper and is 2.7 hours it can be done quicker though.
