Depends I guess you have a stock gearbox is so what the rr say about the power ou might find its not that much quicker it power more low down the rev range like a stock 172/182.
I mean what service histor why was the cambelt left so late was the water pump chnaged what about brakes (tahst a fair old bill for new ones) what about tyres/road fund etc.
Dci CLios are cheap to insure.
Could always take it off the road and make it a proepr race car cage it T/B's cam head work ballenced bottom end.
At that sort of price personaly I'd either sell up (unless you cna get it cheap) or get a second cheap to run car etc and insure the 172 on day...

Its only a 1.5 in the CLio and at 100hp its like a 130hp 1.9. The 1.9 a bit bit for a Clio plus no realy suitable gearboxes.
