The cheap gains are a remap, intake manifold work and a decat/exhaust etc.
Most places charge about the same for that package.
200hp ins't cheap need to start into cam or individual throttle bodies.
They are quick they do loosen up a lot but compairing a car with 86hp to one with 110hp when the 86hp car was loaded down with people and a new engine isn't a fair competition.
Why not try and other 86Hp Clio?
remapped DCI 80 is about 110hp and since 110hp is the same petrol or diesel the...
On the other hand this forums full of 172/182 owners trying to convince themselves that all else is usless and there cheap cars are the quickest and best wghilst trying to servicing them or not as cheap as possible as they cannot afford to run it properly.
Run off the AUX belt easier that way. Easy for the belt just measure up the size you need with abracket for the charger and go to a motorfacotry and roder a belt that size etc.
20psi of boost forget it few normal chargers work that high you'd be looking at about 200hp though. More lily your...
There a member on here with 425hp but that using a VAG engine in a Clio.
Not sure it it had nitro onto of that though.
Thats one of the quickest 1/4 mile cars probably the quickest it was build for that sort of work though.
Other than that there a 500hp V6 (should be about that spec...
Yep clean the throttle body.
Sound smore likly you've a wire comming loose check the pedal has been plugged in correctly its not comming loose same for the other wires on the throttle body.
You need to see where its comming from realy or else see what oil gearbox/engine needs topping up.
Doesn't sound like much though as one drop of oil looks loads when mixed with water.
Forget it its to much work.
Phase 2 has a different wiring etc you need a throttle pedal etc.
For the money and propblems your better off selling up.
The only time its not is if you don't need to post this type of thread and you know where to go etc for the bits.
Matt at Renault...
I've no idea what there like but personaly I'd either got to a DS2500 setup or stay with a stock setup whcih is cheaper etc.
Try Yozzaspot for the ds2500 ther'll there the easist place to buy the kit form you could shop round and get it cheaper for a few quid but its not often worth it.
As...
I agree the problem is people on here don't want to belive in progress. They thing theres is the best.
You've not driven a 197 so how can you comment?
As for the phase1 being the best WIlliams is IMO a much more fun car much rawer etc.
Gearing up at 4k you mean?
What do you mean by "shine" two poassengers in one though is much weight wise like your car two up maybe its even a bit heavier and its 86hp vs your cars 110hp ish.
I think your answering your won question here you need to get decinet shocks before you think about lowering springs as your's are problem worn to a degree now anyway.
Cheapeast mean nothing. Stock better thn many upgrade stuff out there and a lot of other upgrade stuffs over priced.
If you mean use 172/182 calipers you need the brackets making up its not a straight fit.
I don't see why people think FMP is slagging off other companies he posted a funny comment what the big deal sounds like people just want to have a go.
Sell the cr and buy one with air con its much much silier.
I wounldn't even both starting to look into it.
Easiest way is to get a DCI which has has a crash with aircon and swop all the looms UCH ECU engine etc. but thats a silly thing to do.
You can ask said there a load of things out there none are any good IMo the softwares no good either.
They can only do basic things the cheap ones the only ones you can realy chnage anyhting are £2k+ Renault own is the bst at £5k.
If there 5 years and and one 200 miles there usless bin them and replace new.
You shouldn't use tyres over 5 years old regardless IMO.
One more thing though if the've only done 200 miles f you think about it they have basically been sat in one place for month on end so have got a hard spot...
