Sensors round the ignition barrel remove the top and bottom covers round the stearing column and you'l see the senso its got from meort a 3 wires running to it as part of a plug the the unit just pulls of the end of the stalk.
Could be what clutch did you have fitted OE ones are fine but most of the aftermarket stuff junk stock better and often stronger.
Try Demon Tweeks I forget which one I used was only cheap I think £35~40 or so I can find it if you ned.
if the red lights not going out then its animoiliser only issue try your other key if that doesn't fix it then the ley pickup sensor (the one round the ignition barerl) check the wiring on it and then get a new sensor thats the problem 995 of the time the sensors fails to pickup the signal.
5.1 hours officaily and the belts are £130 or so
You need to talk to a garaeg who has the right tools and done them before as to amny garages even very good ones have messed up before now.
Thats called the dialogues its an illegal part of Renault software which managed to get out from Renault dealership.

If you don't have a Cat then the light will come on if you've plugged the second sensor in.
But just don't plug the second sensor in and theres no problem.

Gearbox fits yep (any gearbox fits) you need to find a way of powering the speedo though so use a Cup box and modify the feed or stand alone speedo output.
It covers foglights and sports seats don't matter there no different than stock realy.
The Only ones it doesn't cover are 172's but then again 995 of it is the same just the engine manual which is different which I have a copy of for checking bits etc.

Willaism boxes arn't that difficult to find just got to keep your eyes open but you need to remember no box will last if you abuse it.

Weight was argued for ages they seem to all be over there book weight Mk2 phase 2 172 normal one say 1150kg
100k should be no problem bits wear but thats doesn't mena anyhting my car had worn...
Downgrade to the stock old setup that will go round 14's or else get some 15's all Mk2 phase 2 use them as spare and a few use them as normal wheel i think with trims.
Thats sounds just like Matts TT was. Made a resaonable hot topic on seatcupra when it only had a its 172 engine with cams etc...
They dop on any cars which remaps are common 172/182 with any mods or any modified car ie exhaust they'd check quite likly with big claims.
They checked mine I recon when I claimed and my car was stock. (was a Turbo diesel though so easy big gains tunning)
Sounds just like the cold running part of the ECU mapping come into play. I woulnd't worry.
Best PM the mapper see if they remove it. Otherwsie check the plugs and coil packs.
They only just fit behind 15's do a serachfor a picture Middo's old car had them fitted with some 15's (Williams wheels from memory). They do look better but as for braking performance you can do better for less.
Megan RS has long service intervals 18k or 2 years.
Renault sport would hve wanted shorter intervals but new cars have to be cheaper to service ie longer limits otherwise it doesn't look like things are getting better. Life lenght for then is difficult to say some can snap at 10k other at 100k...
