    cool, if i could afford a 172 id def hav a yellow mk1, i remember the good old days of drivin a 1.8 8v rsi when the 172 first arrived and my dealer got one striaght in, i was sat there all day dreaming.

    he he, it does feel pretty rough, but seems to go well though, although im not sure its at full potential. just had a play with a woman in a lancia integrale, i think it was the evo one too, bright yellow with big flared arches and i could swear i was gaining from 30-90, we had a rolling start...

    im sure next time someone will beat me as the miles on ur motors start clocking up, hell at the start of all this i was just hopin id keep up. so im happy enough regardless if some ones beats my motor, but i can be happy that my car is well faster than the book suggests craggy

    when is it?, will go if its near when i get paid, and im confident with my sh*tty gearbox, your brakes dont have to be very functional either do they? cos mine suck! craggy

    btw i spoke to a woman in donny about 5 months ago with one, it was mint with her hubby being the only owner and had 33k on it. i was in awe, that would pull a huge premium. havent seen it since though craggy

    82k now, reno dealer stamped full service book, all previous mots, etc, what more can i do. im no expert on checkin these things so i have to believe it. 2 previous owners too. craggy
