sorry mate, errm i think again it all boils down to the conditions its tested in as different rrs come out with different figures. i dont think anyone can truly test it cos of all the variables, but at the end of the day, any losses a clio will incur under certain conditions i daresay will...
dont think ill upset to may people on here by saying it takes a lot of ££££ to get a 16v on par with a willy, especially come 4th gear, so i doubt hes tellin the truth
dont really wanna take the car for a thrash tbh, has took some serious hammer lately and doesnt feel right at all, keep getting rally pops which never used to happen and it feels a bit ahstmatic at higher revs where it used to feel so free. my degrading brakes are one step further too, i rekon...

i was looking for a toy to strip out until i got a quote for £1500 to insure the willy when im 21 at the end of september, thats only tpf&t!

yeah mat, since i posted this i had a play with one on a very steep hill drag race and beat it quite easily. it was more than likely rhyss 172 was only on low mileage at the time as its not done massive amounts at the mo.

you on about the a66 to penrith ben? i love that road at hihg speed on a sunday night, its better in the van as its limits are a lot less and can just about negotiate the big downhill flat out at indicated 105mph, top stuff.

are the diesel bits tougher or summat then? cos my work escort van gets pounded constantly, a T reg and done 120k of constant thrashing through every gear, crunching, bouncing, the lot, and never any drive train failure, i know its got less power in a diesel van but it takes a beating day in...
