The side impact sensors are under the seat bolted to the side of the car.
You might need new ones. Best try without
Find out which belts have gone off by either checking them as when they go off at the front they go noticably lower. Or better still go to a garage who can read computer fault...
All the 1.2 8V and some early 1.2 16V seem to use the smaller brakes but 99.9% of the Mk2 phase 2's you find will have the same calipers as the Williams and valver.s
There the same calipers though just since there newer and lower milage on advarage there more efficient and better at stopping you.
Some of the teeth on your tensioner are broken.
Common failure its a bit of a apin to chnage the ratchet have a look around your foor well you'll see how it works and how to replace it.
ALl the 1.5 dci have turbos the easy way to check is to either see if you have an intercooler or check the model code if its CBO7 or BB07 (for the 5 door) on the drivers door sticker then its the 65. If its CB08 or BB08 (for the 5 door) then its the 80.

£13.3k some place is advertising them form I posted the address a few hours agao there the cheapest i can find.
Yep the 197 will loose valve I'd recon they'll drop under £10k in under 6 months for second hand early ones.
Not difficult only a few bolts then there the lines to connect but there no need.
The stock drums are btter in all respect and unless your pushing some serious power on track I'd stick with them there much better cost, reliability, strength, Plus nothting needs to be changed. If I'd have kept...
If they did a 25point check as a dealrship should do and oil level was low they mention it but don't top it up.
The engines can burn oil though.
I'd clean the trottle body first or least check it as there more common to block up and cause this problem.
I'd go for the TT as I love them but th 197 would be the better more usbale etc car.
Just leave it 6 month get somehting for the time being. The TT don't see to loose much money even with the relase of the new one so long as you get one at a good prcie so manye buy one for the next few months...
Italian tunning magazine did it they did a bodge job though it was a 1.6 though 200hp on top boost setting 160 normally.
1.4 and 1.6 engines are much the same though in them.
The owner sold up after a while and bought a 172 as it was that mnay problems.
They used a 5th injector which...

Trophy is realy a 182 Cup just...
One man bleeders don't need you to pump the pedal?
Are you used the Gunners kit? If so you just stick it on the brake tank and put some pressure via a car toia to in undo the bleed nipples one at a time and let the fluid/air out for a bit.
