    No Dials or Trip Computer.

    Remove the dash top unbolt the dials board tilt it upwards and check the two plugs are pluged in on the back of the dashboard.

    182 manifold

    2 bolts plus one earth stray its not impossible its just when you do it the car has to be quite high idealy so you can remove the manifold. Thats whay a garage with a 4 post ligft will be able to do the job much easier and quicker.

    182 manifold

    Bit of a bugger got to lower the subframe so idealy uoi want it on a lift. Then you've got to make up a cat pipe to make it fit your exhaust system as the 172 exhaust after the cat sits in a different place than the 182 one and neither 172 or 182 cats fits.

    Bolts about my only guess on a car that new. As for the seats I'm trying to figure somehting out at the moment. best guess to firt look is to mody the seats cushions.

    Sounds like the gear linkage/sysncros arn't perfect. Mines done it for ages. Best idea is to blip the throttle and then push it into gear.

    As you said second hand engienand box arn't that much drop them in and see whats up with your old one might just need new gasgets so fix it cheap and kep it for/if the other engine has a problem.

    Thats because they arn't mapped for the extra power plus they don't have the sport 182 cat and exhaust on them. Earlier cast do seem worse I think.

    if it is the seat then yep easy way to check fiddle with the wires does the light go out. I'd suspect its another problem with the car if the airbags light isn't on with the SERV light. If it is the seatbelts then yep covered under warentl so will other problems be.

    Its normally more than just the serv light flshing check oil level if its just the serv light otherwsie get it to a dealership to find out the fault. If it were the seats then the seatbelt warning would also be on the fix for the wiring is posted...
