Have you chnnged your spark plug or had your coil pack changed I'd check them both? 25mpg vs 33mpg on a 172 shows somehtings wrong. Also check the lambeda sensors are clean and plugged in correctly. Does your car feel slow as I'd check the injectors as well.

-21 is fine though I'm guessing its been changed (should be done at 4years) as it goes off I'd be suprised...
Yep The Mk2 phase2 cars (excpet the 1.2 8V and Rs model) have the Williams brakes also the Mk2 phase 1 1.6 16V and the Mk1 1.8 16V and WIlliams all have the same setups.
We just keep getting the last generation brakes the 138hp Mk3 has the 172/182 brakes.
Its quicker to get an ida grap your gear shift lower down and chnage gear thats all it realy does.
It does work but the box isn't the best so why rush it. I had one and chnaged only as quick as I didn't want to wrech they syncros.

The 12k service rules were just what Renault Uk set they arn't the optimum idealy you want the oil chnaged and filters ever 3k or so air filterss ever 6 but the price is rediculious for the minimal gains.
5 years old get the cambelt done though

You've got to take the manifold off as the throttle body faces backwards.
TDC sensor is between the gearbox and the engine at the top. You can diagnose it I've got to get to sleep though will write up more info tomorrow.

Yep will work on a normal nox its just a short er gear chnage. Have a serach on here for pictures I'm sure someone fitted ond today and put up pictures it sits lower though

What car is your's? IE 1.2 16V 2002 model
I'd guess you have a 1.2 16V new shape clio if so then there a load of potential problem most common for this sort of problem would be a dirty throttle body and/or a TDC sensor problem. There both easty and cheap to fix the dirty throttle body...
I'd imagien you've got some copy cat parts if so then maybe the pads are rattling round I've found some compnaies sell pads which are to small and rattle like this.
But check your rear drums for the problem th material can break away from the shoe causing problem on some of them.
