yeh i am a bit gutted too, spent so many hours trying to get it right, but i think i have made the right decision
i look at pics of the blue one and i feel bad for giving up, but then i get up close to it and feel better about the decision lmao
yes i know, yet ANOTHER harness mounting question!
basically i just want to know if it is all good to mount them on this rear brace bar
now i assume that renault sport put that there when they installed the cage? and it has the right hole in it for the seat belt bolt, so it should be...
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
i beg your pardon

tbh i keep finding 'mods' on it
looks like the steering column has been repositioned for the best seating position, its got metal guards bolted underneath to protect fuel lines (these guards have clearly seen alot of kerb...

this answer is based on the copy of 'Hillier's : Fundamentals of motor vehicle technology' sat in front of me lol
spoken to John Harris at tweeks about the clutch as i was ordering some other stuff anyway
as previously stated you can use the oem cover however they do an uprated one aswell, he kindly got me a price and i was pleasantly surprised
£200+vat for the plate and £156.73+vat for the cover
not...
i presume the easiest way to find that out is to ring the supplier?
i thought it might be ok to use with standard cover as the DT catalogue doesnt list one, although i know they do one for the F4R after doing a bit of searching....... $611 mind lol
Anyone using one?
Anyone fitted one?
Do you have to use the alcon clutch cover in conjunction with the alcon clutch plate? or can a standard cover be used?
anyone know a price for the cover? i can find the plate price but only found the cover price from the US
ta muchly
was it defianately a wheel refurb you paid for?
a place that powdercoats mine will not refurb the wheels, they only coat them, so i know from experience that if i want them mint i have to get them refurbed elsewhere beforehand.
the F4R manual has the bleeding process in that
from memory
take cap off header tank
open bleed screw on thermostat housing
fill with coolant until a constant flow out of the bleed hole, replace bleed screw
start engine and monitor coolant level
top up where necessary
run engine until fan...
