by my investigation the mintex pads are:
4mm taller
0.9mm wider
same thickness
compared to the carbone lorraines
are they going to rattle around in the caliper due to the extra space?
and yet compare the carbone lorraine measurements to the actual wilwood spec sheet, the carbone...

i know, after all the hours i have put in i am gutted to wave goodbye to the shell, but its for the best
new shell MIGHT be arriving on monday, but that all depends on funds clearing and a few other factors

from what i am reading the carbone lorraine pads are 1mm taller and 0.9mm less in width (not thickness) ...

despite my best efforts (i can only throw so much money at this shell before calling it a day) i am admitting defeat against the rust :dapprove:
although we have cut out inner and outer sections of the sill and welded in new metal, i'm still not happy...

my battery is in the boot so thats no issue, im thinking more of space for an air filter etc towards the front of the bay

is it a fairly compact design (i know thats hard to answer on a forum lmao)

not relaxing no, i dont mind cars being a bit 'skitty' but when you cant even put the power down without knowing what bumps are in the road.....fail!

it has bespoke (think thats the term) suspension, so no suspension parts are nicked from donor cars, the front and rear coilover units are laid at an angle, within the chassis, sort of like a formula 1 type arrangement
he says this gives it better handling and more suspension...
the thread about the ariel atom got me thinking about this
last weekend was over at the gf's parents house, the guy next door has a thing for cars, has helped me do some work on the clio in the past
he currently has an mgb midget, a spartan kit car (both of which he bought in pretty good...
yeh i think its a common problem, water leaks in through the aerial and gets into the reciever, i'm sure i have read somewhere that removing it and letting dry out can help
not 100% sure on that though? :S
