bit of a hijack but is the general consesus to use the omex 600 ecu with the F4R? is the 710 overkill?
also do explain what is involved in removing standard ecu in place of the omex?
the first pic doesnt look right to me, but then what do i know? curtis will clear it up

i know of a good powdercoaters in wetherby aswell, but they dont do the refurbing, just coating
the pistons arent as expensive as i thought they would be
im sure my mates low comp for his s/c saxo were like £900, unless that was including conrods, who knows, who cares lol

im just deciding what to do with some parts that are on it, like the seat and harness, whether to sell and use my sparcos, or sell my sparcos and buy another cobra and another matching...

the cap for the nut?
get a flat blade screwdriver and tap it outwards (there will be a little lip you can get the screwdriver under), it might bend a little bit just make sure you dont crush it totally

keep hitting it and then turning+pulling to release all the brake dust and crap that will have welded it on over the years, you never know if they have been done recently it might come off easy
