unichip is ur best bet. i had a HP chip and didnt do a dime for me other than rev limitor increase. no point revving to nearly 8k when peak power is around 6600.
On my last run at pod in the summer i changed at 6600 as apose to just before the limitor, and ran mi best time yet!
good stuff. always seems to happen in the valver. Driving past a school at hometime in traffic, and kids shouting, nice car mate hehe! future valver drivers me thinks!
yeah, because most alarms go off if the interior light is on as it is possible the door is opened! because doors dont have any other sensors other than the ones that activate the interior light! Replace them and it should sort it!

my car was occasionally having a mardy and cutting out when the revs dropped and have a low idle. if i let it idle for a bit it would sort itself out then it would be fine for weeks.
Then it did it, but never sorted itself out. did it all the time! so i:
- cleaned iscv
- changed speedo...
iv had one done at nobles, and one done at EP motorsport in Stoke!
Nobles it ran mailto:147@fly">147@fly, but the other 2 modified valvers on the day ran mailto:120@fly">120@fly :o and cups mailto:160@fly">160@fly so i think results were a tad low, and the EP one was...
o.k so where do u recommend to go for a proper job! i dont mind travelling as long as they are gonna fit it properly! iv heard a lot of bad things about a few different places, not good! i like my car ;0)
velos do it for £400 but my mate had problems with his there. dont think they are great with renaults!

my potentiometer has been acting up, so iv bought a 2nd hand throttle body with the potentiometer and iscv all attatched.
is there anything i can have done to it at all, like porting before i fit it? would it be worth it?
Also it needs a damn good clean, what should i be using to clean it...
