Mines same! i changed road speed sensor, ISCV, cleaned Tb etc, tried another ecu, slightly better but still same!
iv bought a whole TB with potentiometer, ISCV, etc so gonna fit that next week and see if that cures it!
remember what was said about changing the iscv though! if not done...
iv had a shift light for ages sat in the corner of my room, but the ciggy lighter adaptor is missing, i was gonna hard wire it in, but i wondered if anyone had any idea if i would need to fuse it at all, or just run it straight off the 12v? iv tried and it works, but i dont want it to blow up...
yep just take out the rear seatbelts from under your rear seats, and bolt em to there! if u got harnesses you wont be able to get anyone in the back anyway so no need for em really!
no iv bought a whole throttle body with all the bits on so that should help the problem, i didnt want to pay reno £30+ just to tell me whats up then have to fix it!
Mine is a bit lumpy yeah, but since i had the cams in its was running fine for months, bang on 900rpm, just a tad lumpy. Now...
im in the process of changing my front disks and pads, iv got to the point where i need to take the 2 star screws out of the disk that attatch it to the hub!
My problem is the 2 bolts are feked! they are virtually round, iv not even attempted to get them out yet!
Any ideas what i can do...
whats the difference between the white and black ones on the BB website!
Bit dark to go look now whats on at the min but just wondered as im gonna order a new un!
Cheers
Does anyone know any preferably midlands or a bit more north.
John Nobles is 5 mins away but iv heard not to go to them, velos are v good, but dont really know renaults so not the best option!
Thanks
yeah cos ur speedo cable has a road speed sensor the the revs drop differently when ur moving to when ur stationary, i changed mine but still the same!
could also be coolant temp sensor, but that most likely if the revs are poor like mine!
its benind the throttle body, like a long gold coloured thing. 3 torque screws to remove it, and it has a black plug in the top. it will have 2 pipes coming out of it as well, one going into the inlet manifold.
take it off, then spray loads of carb cleaner in it, youll have to manually open...
potentiometer, or stuck iscv.
take it off and give the iscv a damn good clean with carb cleaner, als hold the revs and spray some into the throttle body!
renault should be able to adjust the potentiometer spot on for you!
Mines acting up similar but idling too low and cutting out, iv...
dastek fully fitted and mapped is usually between £450 and £500 notes! I want one! its mapped every 400rpm, and probably the best chip u can get unless u go full management!
