does someone know this off the top of your head? or can someone measure it for me?
ive got a funny feeling its 2 1/4" as i measured the ph1 cat ive got and thats 2 1/4", however i measured the daimeter of the ktec exhaust that came with the valver and thats 2", is this going to cause any...
bloody hell mate that is gutting, car looked the mutts nuts aswell :(
oh and if you are breaking the car and need a buyer for the turbines, gimme a shout ;) (vultures are circling already :rolleyes: )

also, are they ducts in your fog light holes? if so where did you get them and what size are they etc, cheers :)

yeh i will be going over everything before it see's its first trackday,making sure all bolts are tight and splash a bit of loctite here and there :D

well this weekend today is the only day i get to work on it :( but i was pleased with the progress, considering as soon as it gets dark i have to give up!

right i used a 172 engine mount, valver dogbone as it fits just right, and the 172 gearbox mount, however....................and bear with me while i explain this lol.......................
the bolt holes on the 172 gearbox mount to valver body all line up bar one...

mr postman has just delivered some bits from the good people at sytec, this means i can plumb in my fuel regulator at last :D
im gonna have to look at the valver this weekend, ive put the bloody engine in and didnt fit aux belt! im gonna be sooo annoyed if it has to come out to fit it!

postie delivered my carbon interior door handles today
as i will be using plain carbon door cards i realised i would have nothing to grab to shut the door, so i got these
its the rest of the car that is causing me more hassle :rolleyes:
oh and sourcing the right parts here, there and everywhere, unless you have a donor car like beanimoo

right, did a little bit on the clio this weekend, but nothing of any an great consequence, mainly due to time and money issues, ie lack of both :(
but i took some pics of what ive been doing for the past couple of weekends..
gearbox mount all sorted
clutch cable...
as said above mot ramp should be a 4 poster that sits flush to floor, like so....
as you can see unless the car is literally 2 cms off the floor it shouldnt have any bother getting on the ramp, 2 posters on the other hand are a royal pain in the back side for my 106! have to get trolley...
indeed i am mate, got a pretty nasty gash to my head where the door frame has bent downwards but not alot else
not bad considering it went over about 4 times :D live and learn
the general response you're going to get on here is dont bother
they only make a difference to highly tuned cars iirc
i had to get one as i didnt have a regulator with the engine i bought, thought i might aswell go for an adjustable jobbie :D

in total ive got 1 valver ecu and 3 172 ecu's
no idea what sort of working order they are in :S i need to send one of them off to RStuning to be decoded, once ive done that and got it running the others will be up for grabs :)
