right, this weekend i have been mostly crawling around on my back under the clio in sub zero temperatures :nono:
first thing i sorted was the aux belt, picked it up from a mate who works at andrew page, then fitted it in about 5 mins :D
then i fit my replacement...
love it! makes me want a mk2 :evil:
in fact being a member on here has made me a mk2 ph2 lover! i wasnt overly keen on them at first, but the more of them i see on here modified, the more i can see myself owning one :quiet:

peugeot 106 quiksilver, had it 3 and a half years. had 12k when i bought it, now got 67k.
and a mk1 valver with 172 conversion, still work in progress but is going to be my weekend/track toy :evil:

my omp gloves so i dont wear away the suede steering wheel with my sweaty hands lol

right ive seen a sparco steering wheel i want, but i cant find a sparco boss for the clio :(
ive heard that momo bosses will fit a sparco wheel, is that correct? also any ideas if any other bosses will fit it? (ie omp)

im talking to paul at rstuning about getting ecu decoded
did you have trouble with yours because your loom had the UCH connector? was that why you needed an emulator on the ecu?
thing is the loom and ecu ive got doesnt have UCH connector so i wonder if i could just get...
not possible (although it does depend on what you class as 'cheap' ;) )
what you will save in the short term you will end up forking out for in the future when things go pop or fail
