    It wont be the cam cover gasket. Its the oil decanter gasket. (that bit that is raised and bolted to the camcover. All the 16v engines do it.

    Your better off getting a complete throttle body and just bolting that on. If you just get the sensor it has to be set up using specific instructions.

    Iv had a few experiences with sportex now and overall there good. They do sound very nice and fit very well. The only down side iv found is they start to rust fairly early on.

    The starter relay is incorperated into the uch. You need to find where the problem is at before you go checking random things. If you have power to the starter, you know that the starter circuit is good ect.

    Right, does the UCH go click when you go to start the engine? I take it the imobiliser light goes out? Have you checked for power on both conections on the starter?

    They didnt put the 1.9 in the later kangoos unless its a 4x4. It will probs be the 1.5 dci. Has it got the electro hydraulic style pump in the nearside wheel arch? Iv chagnged a few of these now.

    Sounds like classic EGR valve blocked. I made a guide over on rsc on cleaning them out.

    I know the cause and the cure. :) Just add a little thick grease to the catch and the striker and it should be ok ;)

    Above the drivers side drive shaft is a good way of locating it.

    Sounds like a fault with the instrument panel. Have you checked all the fuses?

    £300 for a clio rsi manifold fitted, is that any good?

    There are w*****s to do. You will be lucky if the manifold to cat bolts dont round off. Then the 02 sensors normally dont play nice and strip the threads out. I take it that price is including parts?

    Good guide, but why bodge it when you can buy the proper seal for 30 pounds and do it properly.

    Has anyone heard of the variable valve pulley needing to be replaced?

    I work in a dealer and have never replaced one or heard of replaceing them on any f4r or f4p. Its only the vvt 1.6's that suffer from noisy depahasers.
