Distance rather than revs to clear it then?
I'll try and film it... you've no idea how bad it is. I dropped down to 4th today to nip out on the motorway and the car behind me vanished in the vapour. It looks like a full on rain cloud has ejected from my car?!
A bit of smoke I can deal with...
Its driven daily (admittedly not far, it barely warms up) and hasn't been washed since September. I though it might be water in the exhaust, but wouldn't a couple of blasts to the redline in all gears clear this?
It does look like water spitting out the back tbh, and when idle it's dribbling...
White/grey smoke, and it doesn't seem to smell. When looking back it appears to be water vapour as you can see the droplets spitting out.
The reason I mentioned vapour is because my rear window is dripping wet after it happens. Its weird because around town it's fine, and it's certainly not...
Right, here goes...
When accelerating at full throttle through the gears, my 182 gives off A LOT of smoke/vapour from the exhausts. I'm not talking a little bit, I can't see out of the rear window and looking in the mirrors the whle road and car following is covered in smoke/vapour.
When...
Before this thread there was no UK distributer, now there is. You can't expect a large tuning company to match prices with an auction site, that's just rediculous.
Everyone's moaning about how long they take to come from Ebay Germany with bad communication etc. K-Tec have given us the option...
Guys, there's clearly a high demand for these... K-tec are actually helping us by providing a much easier route to buying them!
Perhaps leave the negative remarks, and see them for what they are:
A cheap coilover kit which can now be supplied by a reputable UK tuner with a 2 year UK warranty.
Yeah, wait until the agreed deadline to send off letters and complaints.
Obviously do the background work like getting solicitor letters etc, but don't submit anything just yet.
What I was getting at, is them asking you to commit insurance fraud is bang out of order. Even if all this goes your way and your happy with the end result, you should still report them to the FSA for this.
Wow, I haven't read this thread since your OP.
It's all gone on for long enough, I would be driving back down there and coming home in your 197. Then once you've got your car back, report them to RUK and also the guy for suggesting you commit insurance fraud (report to FSA). Don't let that one...
Looks so much better, baffles me why the car's dont come with them!
They must come as standard on one of the RS200 variants, or why would Renault make it?
