Belt are all now due so I'm looking at what I should be getting done other than timing and aux belt and dephaser, and where is best place to get them please.
No seriously HarvB, under normal driving conditions my car was unsafe and although balanced felt like they were out of round as they caused a bobbling sensation possibly caused by their soft sidewalls. Either way you expect a minimum standard which these are far off
Well folks, problem solved! Never ever will I fit budget tyres again! The difference of four matching pzero's if night and day phenomenal, I've got my car back
Only reason I asked is that I fitted the kangoo top engine mount and that vibrates like crazy. There's no gap between the rubber and the metal U shaped piece of metal
Mine must be gone due to the jerkyness on and off the throttle, not really wanting a vibrating dash so is oe the best and cheapest option? Any idea how much
Not meaning to steal a thread but it saves starting a new one, where other the a renault dealer is reliable and near to me on the Herefordshire Welsh border?
I think I will try and find somewhere with some pzero nero's to match the front, these acelera's get horrendous reviews.
If I can't find any locally is there much harm in getting a pair of proxies or something? Used to have them and quite liked them
No the pirelli have been on the front for 8-9 months, budgets are recent. Basically it pulls badly on surfaces it never used to and yes it understeers through corners requiring additional input, the rear doesnt step out no. Funny you should mention supermarkets because a trolley is what it feels...
It appears to have crept up on me but then I've thought about it so much and done things like new wishbones etc that Ive lost track of it. I'm tempted to do swap tyres front to rear aspect if it's the budgets that should alter the behaviour pointing to it being them. Still think at nearly 80k...
I've had my 182 5 years now and I've never hated it so much. What to do then? I suppose new front shocks could be considered due anyway so I could start there rather than replace new rear tyres.
Yes I've checked tyre pressures a few times, alls fine there.
I was thinking of doing a front to back swap to see what difference it made.
One thing I haven't mentioned is that I also get a bouncy sensation but not as basic as when one of my rear shocks went, that was horrendous
I have cup pack anthracite 182 alloys, what sort of behavior did you get from your acelera's? I wonder if they have really soft sidewalls causing roll through corners?
Yeah my 182. Did my photo of my alignment work? Can't see it on my phone.
All that info is lost on me tbh. As is some of the alignment printout, it doesn't suggest what was before/after or ideal readings
