Raced a Cavalier V6 - dont know how fast its supposed to be and it wasnt really a proper race. To be honest I dont know who had the edge. Once we got to !35 mph we both bottled it I think.

Hoses are just hoses. AFAIK all the road kits that Goodridge do are the same bore and length, its just a question of whether you need 2 or 4. The Clio 16v and Willy use the same calipers as the R5 GTT. Thats all I know about that. My Goodridge hoses have always worked perfectly.

Well AFAIK the 19 and Clio 1.8 heads are identical. The inlet manifold is definitely different and the throttle cable and air filter wont bolt on properly any more if you use a 19 inlet manifold.

Dont know a whole lot about the plate systems, but if youre on carbs theres not much else you can do. Logic would suggest that a plate system hooked up to carbs would deliver the nitrous better than a single injector upstream of the throttle body (as for a fuel-injected system).

Well its not illegal to run without a spare tyre. Only to have one thats underinflated or damaged.

There were definitely 400 UK RHD Willy 1s. Any number higher than that must be an import. Willy 2s are the most numerous, cant remember how many there were, did they just keep making as many as people wanted to buy? Willy 3 are actually the rarest, end of the line model. About 250-300 AFAIK?

There is now a manual for the new Clios, I just saw it in Halfords. It covers everything except the 172 and V6. A bit like the old Clio manual covered everything except the Williams. Cliosport members get a discount on Haynes manuals, check the members page for details.

R&A do one identical to their Saxo diffuser. The Clio ones just not very well publicised, mainly cos every Saxo in the UK either already has one, or wants one.

Then the only engine oil circuit that you have near the front of the car is the breather pipe in the back of the air filter. Next nearest is the oil filter on the front of the block under the inlet manifold.
