Best move I ever made was fitting an oil cooler in the front. Theres an oilstat in the take-off plate so it cuts in the cooler circuit once the oil temp hits 80 degrees. From then on the oil circulates through to the front mounted cooler and it keeps the lump cooler overall as well.
Oil temp...

Gotta say the Stilauto look class. As long as you get the anthracite colour, i reckon theyd look shoddy in silver. Koseis are too boring. If you want a plain, quality design like that, then at least the Super Ls are a lot lighter and might help your acceleration!
You need a drill and some big blocks of wood to put under the pedals when you drill them. The rest is pretty obvious. Put the extensions where you want them. Mark the holes with a marker. Drill the holes. Bolt the pedals on.
Ive taken mine off now. Time for a retrim in blue alcantara.
I showed my 3d effect carbon dash to the wife. She reckoned it was more like a 3p effect. To be honest she had a point, it looked well shoddy.
Joes right - there is nothing to tune apart from just changing filters, plugs fluids etc.
If I wanted to be picky I would say that you can pull out the blanking plug and fiddle with the idle speed screw at the top of the throttle body, but thats about it really.
Depends on money. I like the Cupra R. A lot of tuning potential and handy if youve got a lot of passengers.
If I was spending less Id get the 172, you cant really get much more car for your money I dont think.
Joe - that makes sense to me. The weird thing is that you would expect an ignition r****d unit to work in series with the ig module - in other words intercepting the signal, modifying it, and then outputting to the coil. Before I got the thing I thought this must be the case - because its...
Well Id always wanted a Willy or 16v for as long as theyve been around. The first few years they were around they looked so hardcore compared to any other car around except things like Escort Cossies - the 16v comes with everything you want (and Saxo/Nova owners dream of bolting on), the arches...
Hehe Joe you dont compute mate...youre giving *me* a malfunction! I dont think that your argument was proven by any stretch of the imagination. Anders read the thread again.
Ram air does work and not at 180 mph but 75mph to 80mph - which I have proven to myself in road driving (I wont go over...

That seems a bit odd...you want to replace them but dont want the handling affected? Just get the Renault springs then! Am I missing something here?
How exactly do you mean uprated? More poundage or something? In that case, no I dont know the original spring rating...but to get to my point...
Definitely a fuelling problem - dont wanna get technical so Ill stick to obvious things - have you got a fuel leak before the fuel rail? If so youll be losing a hell of a lot of fuel and when you floor it youll get the sudden surge then lose pressure as it goes lean.
Have you checked your...
Multispokes look good on a Clio. The Super Ls are a classic choice. The newer silver coloured ones actually look pretty good. Johns got some and they are the nuts, although would be better in 19"
